FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Anyone who is over 18 years old, is an Australian resident and is receiving income. For more information, please discuss with IPS Institute or contact the Moneyme team on 1300 699 059. The Moneyme lending criteria is then applied to each application to determine a credit decision.

Your first repayment will be aligned with your income cycle, so it will be debited next time you are paid. Subsequent repayments will be debited monthly and can be easily managed via your MoneyMe account.

Refer to our refunds/returns policy. If the refund/return is accepted, your MoneyMe account balance will be credited for the purchase amount and any admin fees related to the purchase will be cancelled. If there is no longer an outstanding balance on your account, then any upcoming payments will be automatically cancelled.

MoneyMe loans allow you to purchase services from IPS Institute today and pay in instalments over time. There is a simple application process which in most cases only takes a couple of minutes. There is a small application fee and a $5 a month account keeping fee, which are clearly explained when you apply for your MoneyMe loan. Instalment are conveniently direct debited from your nominated bank account and there are no additional charges to make extra payments or to pay your loan out early.

You can apply for your MoneyMe loan with assistance from IPS Institute. You can also apply directly on your smart phone through an approved link sent to you by the IPS Institute. You will be asked some details about yourself and your purchase. Applications take a couple of minutes to complete and in most instances, you are provided with an instant decision.

If payments have not been made by their scheduled date, late fees will apply. The late payment fee is up to $15.00 and will be charged as a separate fee in addition to your overdue payment. There is also a $15.00 overdue fee, which is charged if your account is not up-to-date by the end of the month.  Moneyme sends out welcome emails on all purchases which includes information on all fees and charges. You will also receive late payment notices from Moneyme when payments have been missed and become overdue.

Yes, you can make early payments or choose to pay your MoneyMe plan out early.There is no penalty for making additional payments or paying out the agreement early. We encourage early repayments.  Simply call us on 1300 699 059 anytime to make an arrangement.

In the first instance, please contact IPS Institute directly regarding any concerns with the course. All requests for returns are subject to IPS Institute’s return policy. If the request has been authorised, IPS Institute will advise Moneyme regarding any cancellation or refund that is applicable to your payment plan.

It will appear as ‘Direct Debit 12345 MoneyMe 98765’ on your bank statement. The numbers will be unique to you, the customer.  You can also track all of your transactions by logging in to the MoneyMe members login.

You can check your payout figure anytime by logging in to MoneyMe Members Login. Alternatively, you can send an email to support@Moneyme.com.au or call 1300 699 059.

MoneyMe offers hardship services and works very hard to come up with a repayment solution with the customer. In some cases if a resolution cannot be found and the customer refuses to make payment their credit file can be impacted.  So, yes, if you are in default under your payment plan agreement, Moneyme may take action against you to recover any amounts outstanding. A late payment fee of up to $15.00 for each late repayment may be charged if your account is overdue. Late payment notices as well as default notices will also be issued to you to advise of amounts owed. We want to help you get the payment plan back on track therefore it is important you stay in contact with us.

Paying a deposit won’t guarantee a MoneyMe loan being approved. MoneyMe want to ensure you have a positive payment experience and as part of our responsible approach to lending, we will assess your application against our credit lending criteria. Our credit assessment will take into consideration the finance terms, personal information you have provided on the application and your credit history information. Details of your MoneyMe loan will be confirmed to you in writing via email once the application is approved.

You can update your phone number, card or account details, and address at any time by logging in to the MoneyMe Members. Alternatively you can call us on 1300 699 059.

All you need to apply is your contact, employment and purchase details (including finance terms). This will also include providing details of your valid ID to ensure you are who you say you are. In some cases, we may also request for additional information to assess your application such as bank statements. Once approved, your payment details will also be required to set-up your ongoing payment facility.

Yes, you can pay more than the minimum amount on your MoneyMe loan. In fact, you can pay as much as you like at any time with no penalty (as long as it is more than the regular amount due each period). In order to make an additional repayment simply login to the MoneyMe Members, or contact us on 1300 699 059.

You can nominate when your first repayment is due. Once a start date is selected and the plan is activated by IPS Institute, a welcome letter will be sent to you via email. The welcome letter will confirm the initial repayment date and frequency.

Your direct debit is a regular payment that is collected by us from your credit or debit card. If your repayment has been unsuccessful, Moneyme will attempt to direct debit on a future date until the repayment has been successfully received. For additional information, please refer to Moneyme’s Terms and Conditions. You can also request to update your Direct Debit payment details online on the MoneyMe Members or by calling 1300 699 059.

Yes, you can change the amount, date or timing of your MoneyMe repayments at any time as long as you pay at least the regular repayment amount each month. To change your repayment amount contact us on 1300 699 059 to make arrangements.

We understand that your circumstances can change and you may find it difficult to maintain repayments for periods throughout your loan term. Moneyme is committed to assess your situation and come to an arrangement to assist you through this time. Yes, Moneyme may need to conduct a credit check as part of the application process. We want to ensure you have a positive payment experience and well as ensuring we are practicing responsible lending practices. A credit check is only conducted with your consent.

When you make a purchase, MoneyMe will open an account for you. There is a one off establishment fee for loans $1,000-$5.000 that is $49 and for $5001 – $10,000 it’s $99. This fee is added to the loan amount and is split across the interest free period. There is also a monthly account keeping fee of $5.00, which is a charged per month until the balance is below $20. If you have a balance after the interest free period interest will be charged on the balance at 19.5% p/a. This information will be outlined for you in a credit schedule, and payments can be tracked by accessing the MoneyMe Members area.

MoneyMe will process your application by assessing the application information and ensuring that you can comfortably afford the repayments. MoneyMe may request for additional information such as bank statements to assess your application for approval. If it is required, we can provide you a safe and secure link where you can provide this information instantly through your online banking service.

Please contact MoneyMe immediately if you have a dispute regarding your MoneyMe payment plan. Customers can access MoneyMe’s internal complaints and dispute resolution (IDR) process free of charge.

If you have a dispute with IPS Institute including the course, we encourage you to contact us directly in the first instance to discuss your concerns. If you feel you have been unable to resolve your complaint with IPS Institute, please contact MoneyMe for further assistance.
